I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...the first time I saw Ray LaMontagne was when he opened up for Dave Matthews Band at Darien Lake in 2005. It was my first Dave show and it was my first ray show, and I was simply blown away by the entire night. I have never heard a voice like Ray's before and the words to his lyrics just moved me deeply. I've been a fan of his ever since. I own all of his albums and listen to them almost as much as Dave Matthews Band (sorry Dave is still my main squeeze). I think he is extremely talented and works wonders with the guitar too. He is phonominal to see live and once you do you will be hooked on his music just like I am.
