Ray's new EP, Live - Spring 2010, features 5 live performances from Ray's Avatar Sessions last Spring. Included in these 5 performances is the first version of Ray's celebrated cover of Bob Dylan's "The Man In Me" available for download/purchase.

Pre-orders will feature a unique pincode (displayed on the last page of the checkout process) that can be used to purchase up to 4 tickets for up to any 2 shows on the tour. The pre-sale will start at 10am local venue time on Tuesday, March 1st at Ray LaMontagne's Music

Does anyone know how to download the EP into I-tunes??? Or will we have to download it to another program or file, then burn a disc from that??? Thanks in advance!!
Just spent $45 bucks on the presale bundle and the presale didn't work. WTF?
I am really disappointed. I spent $40+ dollars on the bundle getting a code that didn't work, and now my itunes won't recognize the lp songs. If anyone knows how I can get itunes to recognize the songs I'd appreciate it. Hopefully I can get tkts anyway, but this has been really frustrating!
What ticket service are the tickets being processed through (ie: ticketmaster)? In Boston people are already posting there tickets for > then $300 a piece. Sucks when an act gets recognized by the ticket internet hustlers!

The access codes do not work for several of us that purchased the bundle. On Ray's facebook site, Ray's administrator has posted a link to write to Sony and have them straighten it out-see below. Such a disappointing experience and I believe they will now have to process a lot of refunds for the bundles.

SLCRAYFAN: I'm with ya! Whether it's reserved or GA, paying a small fee for a product versus a huge fee from a scalper to get a good seat or a seat, period, is awesome. There are many artists fan clubs that charge not only a fee just to join but charge it annually. The Black Keys presale failed for many of us because anyone could become a "fan" for free and be eligible for pre-sale so the website was flooded and sold out in minutes... I like this style much better.
OHHHH...you need to make a "special purchase" to get the advanced tickets? What a bunch of garbage! Boo Ray!

I'm unable to place and order without an access code. I never received one in my email. Can anyone share the code they received?
I tried to buy tickets for the Columbus, OH show. So you mean to tell me that I paid $42 for the bundle, for the sole purpose of having early access to tickets, so that you could offer me general admission seats? I have been to this venue many times and know it is not strictly GA. This was one big scam to take advantage of loyal fans. How do I get my money back for the bundle?

why don't you tell people a show is sold out before they buy the Live-Spring 2010. I can't believe all the tickets are gone for Chicago, I tried buying them early on XRT but they also were sold out within 1 minute. I waited til this morning to buy tickets, I went on the website only to find out they aren't even for sale in Chicago. That's just wrong.
I had the exact same problem as Blazer. I hope I am contacted by the online store with my links and codes soon.

What the heck do we do if we don't have a record player? What about an option for a Cd?
The website allowed me to pay for my purchase with PayPal but when it came time to complete the purchase I go a server busy message....try later. PayPal has transferred the money but no pre-sale code and no vinyl.
....So, this system also allows true fans first purchase and not worrying about not getting tickets and having to pay ridiculous scalp prices. Perspective people, perspective.
Am I right that Ray does not charge for his fan club access? Am I right that nowhere did it speak to priority seating, just pre-purchase (which is nice if the show has a possibility of selling out)? Am I right that no one was forced to take advantage of this offer and has every right to wait to purchase tickets with the rest of the general public. Also, if you purchased the package simply for pre-purchasing tickets, why would you also buy a T-shirt which is not required? How many scalpers are buying this package? That's right, probably none...
BE WARNED!!! I bought the package to get my exclusive rights to early purchasing to "get the best seats" in their words... then I found out that the Burlington VT show is general admission only. Very disappointed. anyone want a free "I got hosed" T-shirt?

Tried to pre-order so that we could get code to purchase tickets for your show in Michigan but can't on the Canadian website....
I strongly agree with the previous statements, it would be great if Canadian's could have access to this!

tdmonkeyc - are you serious? I don't generally download music, and vinal is more a collectible than a useful item in my book, but this seems to be a lovely gift pack for fans at a very reasonable price.
It says tickets go on presale at 10am local time... Eastern time? When do I log in on the 1st to buy tickets?
Take a look at the FB page, Sony... Ray's fans are NOT happy about having to buy something to get a chance at decent seats. Forcing fans to purchase something they may not need/want in a format they may not be able to use is like shaking spare change out of our pockets, and is exactly what is wrong with the music business today. This is how my loyalty has been rewarded? If I were Ray, I would be mortified at this.
I am still, and will always be a fan of Ray's. But I am NOT a fan of RCA/Sony. Truly, you should be ashamed of yourselves for this "marketing" boondoggle.

It doesn't seem that we can purchase this package and get the code because it's only available to the US (we're from Canada). Would there be a way to get this?
